Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, and only your account can open them in the app. We don't sell or share them. Trust Circle's servers can technically read what you store, so keep here only what you would show a person anyway. When you show a document during a traffic stop, the officer sees the screen; the file stays in your account.

What documents can I store?

Are my documents safe?
Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, and only your account can open them in the app. Trust Circle's servers can technically read stored documents.
Can my trusted circle see my documents?
Only if you explicitly grant them access to specific documents. By default, your documents are private and visible only to you.
What if I lose my phone?
Your documents are encrypted in the cloud and tied to your account. Log in on a new device to regain access. You can also remotely wipe your vault from another device.
Is there a storage limit?
Trust Circle provides generous storage for personal documents. For most users, the free tier is more than sufficient for all essential documents.
Can I use the vault offline?
Yes. Documents stored in the vault are available offline after they've been synced. You can display your license during a traffic stop even without cell service.
